Laser Hair Removal Orlando - Never have to shave, tweeze, or wax again. Come in for a complimentary laser consultation and get a free laser test patch done. We use the latest laser in our practice, and have highly trained and experienced staff. Let us show you how easy, affordable and effective our laser treatments are:

Who can benefit from Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair removal works best on those people with dark hair and fair skin.
We have three different lasers that can effectively treat people of all skin types without scarring or blistering.

Is laser hair removal permanent?
Everyone is unique and will react differently to the treatment. Our trained staff will assist you in scheduling follow up appointments to optimize your treatment in laser hair removal.
Each session should prove to be more successful at removing the remaining hairs than the previous.

How long does each session take?
Laser treatments can take from just a few minutes to up to an hour.

How many sessions will be needed?
On average, people need between six and eight sessions to really see results, meaning about 80% hair reduction in the area treated.

How long should you wait in between sessions?
A person should wait four to six weeks between each session. However, you should know that even if you cannot see the hair, it can still be actively growing beneath the skin and the laser can find and remove the hair follicle successfully. Facial hair should be treated more often than other areas.

What kind of results to expect on the first session?
With each session you should see significant reduction in the treated area. Because most of the time our hair is in its active growth state, there should always be positive results. The results will vary for people with hormonal imbalance.

What are the side effects of laser hair removal?
Most people leave the session with a bit of a temporary rash or ""sunburn-like"" reaction. Most skin discoloring will go away quickly, leaving no side effects. It is important to listen to the practitioner carefully and apply the post- treatment creams and ointments as directed.

Are there any dangerous risks to laser hair removal?
The FDA has approved laser hair removal as a safe procedure. To-date, there have been no illnesses or diseases related to the laser. In fact, our everyday exposure to the sun has seen more significant risks than the use of the laser.

What areas can the laser treat?
Aside from the area close to the eye, almost any area of the body with excess hair can be treated with lasers. Most commonly, patients ask for treatments for their face, upper lip, neck, chest, breasts, underarms, back, abdomen, bikini line and legs.

Are there any problems with Laser Hair Removal?
Unlike other hair removal methods such as electrolysis, waxing and, of course, shaving, laser hair removal is the most state-of-the-art and high-tech method in removing unwanted hair for longer (and even indefinite) periods of time. It is the only proven method available for easily removing hair from mass areas of the body including back, chest, legs and face. Laser hair removal is effective, precise and cost efficient.

How Should you Prepare For Laser Hair Removal. Be aware: you cannot undergo laser hair removal if you have a tan from sun exposure or sunless tanning products; you must wait until the tan completely fades. Make sure you let the technician know if you've recently tanned. That's because a tan increases the risk of blistering and discoloration after treatment. To be on the safe side, you should avoid sun exposure four to six weeks before treatment. Also, people taking antibiotics or accutain cannot be treated.
Laser hair removal procedure requires clean skin. You should shave the area to be treated a day before the treatment.

What to Expect During and After Treatment
It's comforting to know what you'll experience during and after your laser hair treatment sessions.During laser hair removal, you'll wear goggles so your eyes won't be exposed to light from the laser.

At first, you will likely feel a stinging sensation, indicating that the laser has been activated. The treatment involves a series of impulses that cause prickling and a slight burning sensation. Some people have likened the feeling to that of a rubber band snapping against your skin. You might also detect the smell of singed hair, which is nothing to worry about.

The procedure can take anywhere from a few minutes to upto an hour depending on the work you are having done. The smaller the area, the less time is involved, whereas a larger area, such as the back, may longer.

Typically, most people don't have much redness at all. Don't expect, however, that all the hair will fall out right away - it may take as along as two weeks after treatment. For the most part, you can return to your normal routine immediately, though you should avoid direct sun exposure. Be sure to use sunscreen with a high SPF.

You should continue to avoid direct sun exposure and tanning booths for several weeks after treatment. Be careful when touching the treated areas: don't wax or pluck hairs, pick at the skin, or rub or scrub it. A gentle washing with soap and water is perfectly fine.
