BBL BroadBand Light technology utilizes the power of pulsed light to deliver excellent phototherapy results. A PhotoFacial treatment with BBL may vary from 15 to 45 minutes depending on the size of the area to be treated. First, the treated area is cleansed and a cool gel is applied. When the pulse of light is delivered, the sensation is similar to a snap of a rubber band. After treatment, the gel is removed, the skin cleansed, and a sunscreen is applied. For sensitive skin, a cool compress is applied following treatment. For skin texture improvement an exfoliating ""prep"" treatment may be recommended.
